How can we afford to build free websites?

It’s really simple… There are three major ways to make money on websites. Building them, hosting them, and maintaining them. When we sold websites to businesses we profited from selling all three of these services at premium prices. That’s up to $2000 for the site, $100 per hour for maintenance, and $9.95 per month for hosting. When we made the decision to exclusively work with ministries and churches, we were led by God to donate the website for free, and bundle the maintenance and hosting together for $49.95 per month.

So in the end, ten 5-page ministry websites still generate $500 of business per month for us, but no one ministry is carrying a huge financial burden. Being that we are all connected in Christ there is no reason for CoreyBuckner.com to pass the costly burden of building the website on to ministries when we are in a position to bless them. When it comes down to it, CoreyBuckner.com does not sell cars, we do not have costly overhead, and we are not at the pricing mercy of distributors. It is all a matter of time for us, and we refuse to charge ministries an arm and a leg for our time.

Still cheaper than buyin g a website outright!

Even if you do not think you will need work done every month, a year of service with CoreyBuckner.com is still less expensive than paying $800 - $4,000 for a comparable new website. This is because after a year with CoreyBuckner.com the website is signed over to you as your legal property. If you were looking to pay for a static website and only host it afterwards, with other companies you have to put up that price all at one time, and they will charge extra for maintenance and updates. With CoreyBuckner.com that maintenance is included for the $49.95 per month you pay; and after a year you still will not have paid $800 for YOUR site. No matter how you look at it, our free website plan is the least expensive way for ministries to take over the web outside of having a volunteer!

On anything you sign with us you will notice that there is no lengthy legalese or small print; and no hard to read, redundant, papers that intend to confuse. What do you get for free?

I am not offering reused templates that will cause your website to look just like a hundred other websites. I custom build each website for each ministry. Each website is built from the ground up using CSS and HTML (flash is not automatically included for free); and unique from other sites that I have built. Is there a long-time contract?

Absolutely not. We do not believe in holding our clients hostage, especially if God blesses them to no longer need our service. We do have an agreement that is signed by all parties that states that the websites we build for free remain our property for one year. This does not mean that you are locked into our service for a year; it only means that if your ministry decides that it no longer needs our service within a year of joining this program, it is left to our discretion whether or not to allow you to keep the website. Our goal is to help and not hinder. If, for example, a new member joined you ministry and had the capabilities of maintaining the site and was willing to volunteer; we would not hold you hostage to our service when your ministry could better benefit otherwise. We only have this restriction in place to protect CoreyBuckner.com against those who would purposely sign up for a free website with no intentions of letting us host and maintain it.
